Godiag GD101 J2534 interface allows firmware update online. The recent firmware version V1.8 fix bugs.

How to Update Godiag J2534 firmware?

Download Godiag J2534 firmware update tool here.

Select setup language and install update tool until completed.

Connect Godiag j2534 with laptop

Check if interface is connected in Device Manager and COM port was set to COM7

Run J1979 Diagnostic Tool on desktop

Check Update

Press Disconnect button to check new updates

Then press Update button

Press OK when update is completed.

Check current firmware version.

Here is the DIY modification tutorial for Godiag GD101 or VNCI J2534 HS-CAN + MS-CAN. Simply modification for GODIAG GD101 / VNCI J2534 Nano . Just add a slide switch and remove the two resistors.
